Chat with Any Page: common questions

Does it read pages in the background?
No. The current page goes to the AI only with a message you send while page context is on (it is on by default), or when you run an action on it. Turn page context off with the switch above the message box.
Can I ask about PDFs?
Chrome’s built-in PDF viewer can’t be read by extensions. Copy the text you need and paste it into the chat, and the assistant will work with it.
Can I turn page reading off?
Yes, with one switch in the panel or permanently in Settings.
